We read about a book recently where, in the margins of the pages, there are little notes to and from two of the readers of the story (these are made up by the author). So there is a story happening between the readers alongside the story that they’re supposed to be reading. All of which, you are reading too! If you dare, try doing something similar in class! Use sticky notes to write the readers’ messages on and have them react to the story as they read it. Maybe one is enjoying the story and the other isn’t.
